I read my first Lackey novel a few years ago. I read the Last Herald-Mage series. It was really good, but I kinda forgot about it. Then a couple of weeks ago I came across the Heralds of Valdemar series and I finished it in about 3 days. That's all I've read so far, but it's enough for me to know that I'll be buying more. I've also had access to some tapes of music based on the books. I was really surprised to find the lyrics in the back of "Arrow's Fall". I had heard all the songs before, but I never made the connection since I hadn't read the books. I'll be on the lookout for the music as well now.

I'm a 21 year old female, originally from Kansas. I live in North Carolina now, with my husband, our son, and our upcoming baby. I enjoy reading fantasy and have even been known to write some for fun. I also like the work of Peirs Anthony and Anne McCaffrey.
I love to roleplay whenever I get the chance, but I strongly favor AD&D over any other system. I guess it's safe to say I have an infatuation with the magic and mystery of middle ages type environments.
I also have a strong intrest in real world history. I love the sense of time passing I get when I look at the family trees of some of England's greatest monarchs.
